Interesting Things That I’ve Learnt This Week.
Well, This week has been a very interesting week, I’ve learnt a lot of interesting things, so I thought I’d write a blog to share with the you most interesting things that I have learnt this week.
The Most Interesting Things That I Have Learnt This Week:
* Well, I have an allergy to raspberries, which makes shopping for birthday cakes and jam filled products almost impossible, until this week, I didn’t know that the only supermarkets that sell products with Strawberry jam, are Waitrose and Marks & Spencer’s. Most companies choose raspberry jam as it’s cheaper so cuts costs.
* OJ Simpson was originally cast to play the role of Terminator, however, he was later dropped as people didn’t feel that he would portray a remorseless killer effectively.
*Caterpillars completely liquefy before they turn into moths.
*Until 2011, Russians classified beer as a soft drink.
*Two-Thirds of people in the world have never seen snow.
*There are more vacant houses than homeless people in the USA.
*A jellyfish is 95% water.
*It would take over 1000 years to watch every single video on YouTube.
*A man named Charles Osborne has had the hiccups for 69 years.
* In the film Labyrinth, Alice Cooper was originally cast to play the Goblin King, however he then declined the role, so David Bowie was cast instead.
*A group of pugs is called a grumble.
*The number of words posted on twitter every day, would fill a 10 million page book.
*Tommy Lee Jones & Al Gore were college room mates.
*Elvis Presley got a C in his music course.
*An Ostriches eye is bigger than its brain (I must be part Ostrich then)
*Approximately 2500 left handed people die per year due to using equipment designed for right handed people.
